MidKent College is at the heart of the education sector in South East England, and a College which Ofsted recognised as Good for overall effectiveness, in a November 2018 inspection.As a progressive student-centred College, we are now looking for a Lecturer in Media - 3D Design/Games Design.If you are passionate about education, and can inspire those around you, wed love to hear from you.Details of the roleThe successful candidate will have responsibility for co-ordinating designated study programme delivery activities for the College, including delivery of high quality teaching, responsibility for day to day operational issues, ensuring a consistent approach is maintained across both sites. Inspiring and motivating students through outstanding teaching and learning that stretches and challenges students to be the best they can be.Job requirementsThe candidate will be able to demonstrate strong drawing and concept design skills and the ability to inspire students.The candidate will have industry knowledge in concept art, level or character design and also project management and pre and post production experience.They should also be confident in teaching Maya, Mudbox and Unreal. A knowledge of 3DS Max, Unity and/or Z Brush would also be useful.This is a part-time post for 18.5 hours per week.Interviews will be held on 11 June 2020.Commitment to SafeguardingWe are committed to the safeguarding of all our students and staff.
