Job Title: Management Accountant / Financial AnalystLocation: Gillingham, Kent (Hybrid)An established and internationally-renowned client is currently looking for a driven and proactive Management Accountant / Financial Analyst. This role forms a pivotal part of the finance team, aiding in internal and external management reporting, and supportingthe various financial processes throughout the fiscal year.Role and Responsibilities:In this role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and comprehensive financial reports while adhering to strict deadlines. You will liaise with both external and internal auditors to ensure the robustness of all financial processes. The role alsoinvolves budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring Sarbanes Oxley compliance.Key tasks include, but are not limited to:• Maintaining accurate profit, loss, and balance sheets• Contributing to the annual budget preparation and monthly forecast process• Ensuring timely and accurate cash flow forecasting and reporting• Overseeing the companys bank accounts and expenditures versus the budget• Managing VAT and Tax reporting as necessary• Mentoring and developing the Finance team• Supporting the Quality team by monitoring Warranty returns and claims, identifying any financial risks• Undertaking the annual Standard Costing process and factory margin reportingSkills and Experience:The ideal candidate will have reached the final stage of their CIMA/ACCA qualification, and possess either experience of working in a manufacturing environment or a strong understanding of standard costing. Additionally, the candidate should have experienceof preparing management accounts.
