Our clients operates a large multi use health club facility based in the heart of Gillingham. They are currently looking to recruit a F&B/Bistro Manager to join their team.Main Purpose of the jobTo manage & support the delivery of a premium product whilst exceeding the expectations of the customer, demonstrating & encouraging successfully selling to the customer to ensure a maximum profit is achieved. Showing commitment to the club & future businessgoals and comply with company standard operating procedures and statutory requirementsKey Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the General Manager.Managing and promoting the food & beverage offer to achieve key performance indicators of income, profit and cost control.Actively promote Private Function Hire and produce a promotion calendar.Ability to report accurate figures, including stock levels while managing any financial discrepancies as and when they occurActively supporting all areas of the club where necessary.Acting as Club Duty Manager as requested.Adheres to the Licensing Act 1964Managing/maintaining all food & beverage brand standards including health and safety standards.Taking personal accountability for health and safety of yourself, guests and your colleges whilst at work.Manage your departments’ holiday requests to ensure that member first service is not affected, colleagues take their annual leave and the payroll budget is not over spent at any time throughout the year.Manage employees labour scheduling, clocking in and out, taking entitled breaks, accurate timesheet completion, reporting non-attendance though sickness and applying for annual leaveAttend periodic team meetingsWe are looking for candidates with a minimum 6 months supervisory experience within a fast paced F&B setting. You must have strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
