Role: Experienced Press ToolmakerLocation: Gillingham, KentSalary: £40,000 + Benefits KHR is working with a leading manufacturing company who are currently recruiting for an Experienced Press Toolmaker to join their growing team in Gillingham, Kent. This role would suit someone who has worked within a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is looking to take the next step in their career. Duties:- Maintain and service multi-stage press and form tools.- Programming and use of CNC wire encoders ideally via CAD/CAM software.- To manufacture parts for production and maintenance using typical engineering machines including spark erosion and cylindrical grinding.- Ability to create and interpret engineering drawings and manufacture parts accordingly.- Design and manufacture jigs and fixtures.- Work with production staff to resolve technical tooling issues within a manufacturing environment.- Maintain a safe working environment at all times.Ideal Candidate:- Experience in CAD Design would be desirable- CNC Experience is essential- Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment would be desirable but not essential- Time served apprenticeship or HNC in relevant industry- Wire erosion skills would be desirable but not essential- Experience using press machines is essentialBenefits: - 33 days holiday inc Bank Holidays- Paid parental leave.- Paid overtime- Competitive Training programme- Competitive pension scheme- Free on-site car parking- Cycle to work scheme- Free eyesight test with contribution to glasses if required- Friendly family environmentAt KHR we take care to ensure that you are represented as well as possible so it is worth checking your CV for layout, spelling and grammar as well as making sure it is up to date before you submit.
