Job Description

Join us on the Journey... National Express are looking to recruit a Delegated Examiner, on a full time basis, in Gillingham. The successful candidate willbe responsiblee for carrying out delegated DVSA testing of candidates within the driver development department.What youll do:

  • Carry out delegated DVSA testing in accordance with compliance requirements
  • Provision of training to new and existing drivers as required
  • Custodian of driving standards within the business - ensuring up to date knowledge of legislative and other changes which impact operations
  • Support the business with queries about driving standards
  • Carry out quality assurance checks as required and support colleagues with areas of improvement
  • Identify patterns from tests and QA checks and develop interventions to resolve any areas of concern
  • Support drivers and colleagues with queries and concerns n/a
  • Delivery of KPIs Trainee pass rates
  • Accurate recording of trainee performance and training information Trainee tracker, Salesforce
  • Feedback to trainees on performance and sharing of trainee performance data with them throughout their training journey
  • Ensure compliance with relevant global, divisional and local standards and processes Compliance with external and internal standards
  • Work safely at all times, complying with safe systems of work and ensuring trainees / delegates do the same
  • Conform to all health, safety and environmental regulations at all times Compliance with external and internal standards
  • Duties and responsibilities vary from time to time and the post holder will be expected to perform other such duties, which are reasonably comparable in accordance with the conditions appertaining to the post and to meet operational requirements. This rolewill also involve active delivery of driver training
What youll need:
  • Held a PCV Licence for minimum of 3 years
  • Hold a clean Driving Licence
  • DVSA approved delegated examiner (orworking towards)
  • Previous Training Experience
  • Evidence of coaching skills
  • RoSPA & Feedback
  • IAM qualification
  • Experience of Report Writing
  • Banksman Awareness course
