Job Description

Consultant Cardiologist with an Interest in Cardiac Imaging Division: Unplanned and Integrated CareCare Group: Specialist MedicineSalary: £79,860 - £107,688 per annum/pro rataInterview Date: Week Commencing 26th October 2020We are recruiting a Consultant Cardiologist with an interest in Cardiac Imaging who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.It is expected that the appointee will:

  • Participate in the cardiologist of the week rota including weekends (currently a 1:6) but this is expected to change as new appointments are made to the team.
  • To manage the echocardiography services, including exercise and dobutamine stress echo, transoesophageal echo and bubble and contrast studies
  • To manage the technician led valve clinic
  • Undertake 2 sessions in outpatient clinics per week
  • To help supervise a team of trainee medical staff
