Job Description

Our Client based in Chatham is looking for Export Customer Service Coordinator. Hours: Monday to Friday ( Hybrid working available after training)Benefits: Life Assurance, Eye care, Employee assistance programme, cycle2work scheme.Export Customer Service Coordinator responsibilities:

  • Processing customer orders for the Export market using the company’s ERP system
  • Sending order confirmations daily
  • Systematically following up on Export customer enquiries and quotation requests received
  • Releasing customer orders to the warehouse for dispatch
  • Liaising with local freight forwarders obtaining quotations for shipping and arranging collection of goods and obtaining proof of deliveries
  • Calling and emailing customers with order status updates
  • Managing and dealing with the daily call intake
Export Customer Service Coordinator person specification:
  • Essential: GCSE in English and Mathematics (or Equivalent)
  • Desirable: Previous experience in a similar role within a Supply Chain department
  • Essential: Export Customer Service skills
  • Essential: Computer Literate with knowledge of Windows operating system
  • Desirable: SAP
  • Strong communicator verbally and written
