Job Description Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to work for a very well established, large organisation based in the Crawley, West Sussex area. The Strategic Finance Business Partner will be fully qualified and will build partnershipswith key business areas and be responsible for producing and providing monthly management accounts, financial analysis and communicating any risks in a timely manner. The Finance Business Partner role will also monitor and report on any financial trends and recommending improvements etc. This is a permanent, hybrid working Finance Business Partnering job opportunity. Salary: £60K + excellent benefits Location: Crawley, West Sussex - Hybrid working. Free parking onsite Strategic Finance Business Partner duties:
  • Preparation of the monthly management accounts
  • Reviewing the monthly accounts, comparing to budgets and understanding unusual variances
  • Managing a team of 2
  • Creation of monthly strategic reporting to the group and overseeing the production of business area accounts
  • Management of annual budgeting cycle
  • Organising and attending regular finance review meetings
  • Liaising with external stakeholders
  • Develop, maintain and improve financial reporting and finance modelling to enhance user experience and financial controls
  • Providing financial analysis and business insight to interpret data, provide conclusions and make recommendations
Skills and experience required:
  • Proven Finance, Strategic Business Partnering experience, working in a similar Finance Business Partner role
  • Be a fully qualified Accountant
  • Have a broad range of experience of strategic finance business partnering, management and financial accounting reporting
  • Excellent IT skills with advanced excel to analyse data
