Job Description

Materials Management Data Analyst - Systems Data Analyst - Stock Control Systems Data Analyst - Manufacturing Systems Data Analyst - Supply Chain Intelligence Analyst required for a 2-year fixed term role based in West Sussex office of my International Hi-Tech Manufacturing client. THIS IS NOT A DAY RATE / HOURLY CONTRACT but a FTC role.I am seeking an experienced Materials Management Systems Data Analyst who has worked for a large manufacturing, production, distribution or logistics company - ideally in a multi-sited international environment covering the Hi-Tech / Electronic Component sector. This role will be a Two-Year Fixed Term PAYE position (FTC) paying up to £35,000 - £40,000 per annum + Bonus and Company Benefits.Key skills and data analytical experience sought include:

  • Excellent IT skills, including be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, etc.)
  • ERP Experience preferred (SAP, Oracle, BaaN etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience of reporting tools (POWER BI, Crystal, etc.) with SQL a key advantage
  • Database structure and data acquisition knowledge gained in a large corporate environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills (2nd language an advantage)
  • Strong organiser with effective time management skills and the ability to multi task, prioritise effectively and to ensure deadlines are met
  • Data manipulation skills with attention to accuracy and detail Presentation skills linked with logical organisation of data
  • Previous experience in the Hi-Tech / Electronic Component sector covering manufacturing, materials management and logistics would be an advantage.
  • A current, valid, driving license is essential and a willingness to travel occasionally on business
    • You will be based in the Materials Distribution Department in my clients European Head Office and reporting directly to the Materials Systems Manager. Your primary focus of this appointment data analysis and presentation of results to predetermined conditions and agreed deadlines.The appointment of a Materials Management Data Analyst - Systems Data Analyst - Stock Control Systems Data Analyst - Manufacturing Systems Data Analyst - Supply Chain Intelligence Analyst requires a motivated self-learner with attention to detail, effective communication skills and a drive to succeed by building relationships and interacting regularly with the European Materials logistics team. A committed work ethic and flexibility is therefore essential to succeed in my clients ever-changing and dynamic environment. The role will cover:
  • Data gathering and analysis using appropriate tools
  • Producing accurate data reports presented in clear readable format
  • Identify and communicate emerging data error trends.
  • Develop automation schedules for recurring data
  • Maintenance of published reports aligned to current operations
  • Management of report suites for the various spare parts functions
  • Build success through increased operations knowledge and experience
    • This Materials Management Data Analyst - Systems Data Analyst - Stock Control Systems Data Analyst - Manufacturing Systems Data Analyst - Supply Chain Intelligence Analyst role is a 2-year fixed term role (FTC) however in the future there may be an opportunity for a permanent role in this or other departments to meet my West Sussex clients international expansion programme.
