Job Description

Reed Financeare partnered with a well-recognised organisation who are enjoying continued growth and success, in the recruitment for a Finance Business Partner to join their team on a permanent basis.This is a hands-on position developing key partnerships between finance and senior non-financial executives within the expanding IT section of the business, interpreting and explaining key project-based finance data.Due to the niche nature of this role, previousIT specificFinance Business Partnering experience is essential, alongside a full accounting qualification (ACA,ACCA,CIMA).As IT Finance Business Partner, your key duties will include:

  • Ownership of the budgeting and forecasting process for short, medium and longer term plans
  • Providing insights, guidance and recommendation to senior management to support strategic decision making
  • Driving continuous improvement and innovation to support cost savings and process streamlining
  • Scenario analysis to review resources, costings and feasibility of proposed business decisions
  • Creation and presentation of senior management reports to various stakeholders
  • Preparation of income reports and communicating results clearly and succinctly to all parties
  • Various other ad-hoc finance duties to support continued business growth
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A finance qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
  • Proven experience within a dynamic accounting environment, including management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, Power BI would also be highly desirable
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
