Job Description

Job Requirements HR Business Partner 12 months maternity coverSalary £70,000 - £75,000 + £4,500 Flex allowance, up to 20% bonus + benefitsAt London Gatwick, our HR Business Partners are integral to the leadership teams of their functional areas, gaining a deep understanding for their respective departmental needs, challenges, and aspirations. They are at the heart of driving the people agendathat enables our people to thrive and the business to achieve its strategic objectives.As the environment at London Gatwick is fast paced and fascinating, this 12-month fixed term contract will offer you the opportunity to gain some fantastic and unique experience. Not only will you work closely with Executive and Senior Leaders across theCorporate functions as their strategic people partner, you will be part of a dedicated HR team that strives to constantly innovate, improve and change up the way HR is delivered to the company.You will use your relationship and coaching skills to enable the creation of people focussed solutions that develops the people agenda and supports the wider people activities in a Centres of Expertise model including talent, reward, people development anddiversity and inclusion.Please note that candidates must be able to take up this fixed term contract from mid July 2024.What youll be doing

  • Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders to provide a trusted HR partnership
  • Support and lead on projects in various people disciplines, for instance engagement, wellbeing, organisational design
  • Develop and deliver departmental people plans, ensuring alignment to overall HR plan and company goals
  • Leading cyclical HR processes such as pay reviews and performance reviews
  • Coaching people leaders on the topics of wellbeing, engagement, inclusion and cultivating a high-performance culture
  • Use data and insights to enable people leaders to understand our people trends, and facilitate good decision making
  • Identifying opportunities for change, unlocking people processes and releasing potential
  • Develop succession plans through talent reviews to track talent and build a platform of future talent that enables people to grow across the business
Do you have what were looking for
  • Previous generalist experience as a strategic business partner for Corporate functions
  • Ability to build senior level relationships quickly and effectively
  • Full knowledge of HR framework and legal process to shape and build solutions
  • Resilient and thrives in a busy, changing environment
  • Experience of working in a HR model with centres of excellence/functional specialists
  • Demonstrableknowledgeof HR disciplines and emerging HR trends.
  • Ability to use data to support effective decision making.
  • Effective at coaching leaders to be their best and promote a positive working environment.
  • Experience in delivering talent reviews and building succession plans.
  • Knowledge of practical solutions in a variety of HR topics
  • Confident in challenging status quo and providing solutions, being tenacious to ensure they are delivered
  • Commercial - able to view and quickly understand the financial impact of decisions made
  • Supportive and works well as part of a team
  • CIPD Level 7, or equivalent experience
