Cyber Engineering ManagerTo be the airport for everyone, whatever your journeyCyber Engineering Manager Competitive Salary + £4,000 Flex allowance, bonus, and benefitsAre you a Cyber Engineering Manager looking for achallengingnew opportunityWe are looking for greatpeoplewho can helpusredefine whats possible forourCyber team and continue their journey as part of our exciting future plans.What is the roleResponsible for establishing and maintaining a cyber security technical programme that ensures that information assets and associated technology, applications, systems, infrastructure, and processes are adequately protected in the digital ecosystem.What will you do

  • Define the strategy for Cyber Security Engineering function and cyber project governance.
  • Define Technical Security Standards for the implementation and operation of Technical Security Controls at GAL and across projects.
  • Manage technical cyber risks, evaluate existing controls, define additional risk actions, and assess net risk positions.
  • Lead for Cyber Security Team in IT and Business Technology Projects,
  • Lead Vulnerability Management Capabilities across all Gatwick Systems, Cloud and OT.
  • Create the Technical Assurance Strategy & Vulnerability Governance.
Do you have what were looking for
  • An Information Security Qualification – required
  • Technical expertise in network security knowledge
  • Technical knowledge in security architecture
  • In-depth experience of designing, implementing and/or operating complex technology environments, including Operational Technology, Cloud and on-prem
  • Expert experience of vulnerability management and threat management: intelligence gathering/analysis.
  • Expert experience and understanding of Security architecture and Technical design concepts
  • Experience of security hardening operating systems, middleware and applications
  • Experience of managing Information Security Controls, including Endpoint Detection & Response, Email Security and Network Controls
  • High level of Experience of delivering information and cyber security requirements into projects
  • Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, COBIT, PCI DSS, NIS and NIST.
  • Experience of scoping, arranging and coordination of executing penetration tests with a purview of limiting business disruption.
  • Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience of APIs, Web Services, Tokenisation, cryptography and authentication mechanisms.
  • Understanding of security controls into Cloud IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and hybrid environments
