Job Description

Customer Solution Architect - Informatics£competitive salary and benefits packageCrawley/Gatwick (min 2 days a week with remote working)Solution Architecture, Cloud, Azure, Informatics, Iaas, SaaSCustomer Solution Architect is sought by market leading international organisation. This role will see you become a trusted advisor to key client and potential client accounts by way of guiding them through the various technical solutions available to them, via our partners cloud, and informatics (IaaS, SaaS) product offerings. You will assess existing systems and make informed recommendations for improvement.Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptually build specialist information systems for client portfolios
  • Become a trusted advisor from a technology / IT / IT innovation perspective around informatics & Infrastructure (Saas, IaaS)
  • Continually evaluate and drive current and emerging solutions and innovations and supporting field sales teams in identifying and shaping opportunities from a technical perspective (Infrastructure and informatics)
  • Elaborate roadmaps for customers, e.g. cloud transition scenarios, SaaS transition scenarios
  • Closely collaborate with order fulfilment in execution of improvement projects
  • Liaise with R&D, prioritize and communicate technical requirements from the field to the business line
  • Drive cloud and SaaS sales in the region by supporting and upskilling field sales
    • Key Requirements:
  • Extensive experience as solution architect in highly complex technical environment, ideally with cloud solutions
  • Background in informatics desirable, ideally from planning to data management
  • Strong understanding of database technologies, cloud, analytics and virtualization; ideally Microsoft Azure experience and/or certification
  • Strong technical sales acumen with high technical skillset
