Are you an experienced Team Leader or Senior Support Worker who is passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities Were recruiting for a Team Leader who will plan and organise the delivery of support and care to people with Learning Disabilities,Autism, Aspergers and complex needs living in Supported Living. They have a great staff benefits programme too for the TeamLeader including a salary of £22800, additional payments for on-call, employee assistance scheme, 6.6 weeks annual leave, pension scheme and more...The Team Leader RoleAs the Team Leader you will have responsibility for the day to day leadership of staff delivering care and support to people within a supported living service covering Gateshead and Newcastle, Youll support the staff teams to deliver the best care and supportpossible, ensuring that people fulfil their potential for independence, choice, inclusion and control.The Team Leaders responsibilities include; Ensuring the rotas are in place to meet contract hours and meet the people they supports needs Ensuring that support records are accurately maintained Ensuring that accident/incident records are completed as and when required Providing direct supervision to support staff in line with staff allocation Providing onsite coaching and mentoring to staff Promoting and supporting inclusion throughout the service, identifying and discussing employment and leisure opportunities in the community Developing plans to ensure that the people we support are active citizens in their community. Developing and maintaining effective communication systems within the service. Supporting regular team meetingsThe Successful candidate
