Our clienti s one of the UKs leading trader distributors of timbers, who currently have an opportunity based in Gateshead for an Operations Manager!In this role, youll lead an efficient warehouse and transport team, prioritising exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities include managing a large team, organising training, and ensuring strict adherence to health and safety protocols. Collaboratingwith our Health and Safety Manager, youll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Your duties will extend to arranging and evaluating maintenance for all equipment and site infrastructure, ensuring compliance with maintenance schedules, and addressing any operational issues promptly. We are keen to speak to highly motivated and organisedindividuals with prior experience in operations management or similar roles. Strong people management skills, IT proficiency, and a solid understanding of commercial driver regulations are essential.Based at the clients modern facility, youll have ample opportunities for career development and growth.
