As a key part of the Functional Safety engineering group you will work cross-functionally with exceptional engineers in a dynamic and fast paced environment. The Coordination betweenFunctional Safety engineering and expertise from other disciplines can support the in-depth analysis and mitigation of specific safety risks. You will provide operational and technical expertise that will ensure the successful specification, design, implementation,and integration of industrial, automotive, and aerospace systems.The JobAs the Senior Functional Safety Engineer, you will Lead the Safety activities through the life cycle of the product (System, Software, Hardware, Mechanical, Production) and identifying hazards, performing risk assessments and estimate the SIL/ASIL/PLr andderive Safety Goals. Lead appropriate safety analysis to ensure all product development safety activities are performed according to relevant safety standards (HARA, HAZOP, FMEA, FTA,DFA etc.) and the FMECA activities for the Hardware team and perform FMEDA/MTTFto verify the hardware design.Perform Cut set analysis of the fault tree and carry out reliable analysis taking into account of the CCF factor when it is necessary to support the design rationale, then evaluate the hardware design using PFH/PMHF activities from the relevant safety standards.Maintaining familiarity of relevant safety standards. and manage product safety work products, particularly for Automotive, Industrial and Machinery standards ISO26262 / EN1175 / EN280 / ISO13849 / IEC61508 / ISO19014 / IEC 62619.Minimum of an Engineering degree in Electrical / Electronic or related field (preferably with a focus on electric drive systems; power electronics, energy storage systems and/or motors).The Requirements

• Experienced with requirements management tools such as DOORS, Cradle, Polarion etc.
• Experience with safety analysis tools like Isograph, Medini, APIS IQ
• Managing requirements from elicitation, definition/capture, decomposition, allocation, prioritization, tracking, traceability, test mapping and derived identification.
• Defining, maintaining and allocating safety requirements to the Architectural elements
• Derive Safety concepts for the project taking into account of the safety design principles required by the relevant safety standards.
• Perform ASIL decomposition as necessary (System/Software/Hardware) with sufficient design & requirements rationale based on alternative architecture analysis and supported by dependent failure analysis.
• Ensuring product development is coherent with the defined safety requirements.
• Verifying and validating products against safety requirements and the Safety Architecture
• Perform System/Software design using SYSML / Modelling tools like Enterprise Architect, System composer.
• Collaborate with the Senior Functional safety engineers to review and refine company safety work where required by the Safety plan, safety assessment audit plan.
• Support Software safety analysis activities with the software team and generate Software Safety analysis report
• Verify the MC/DC coverage, Special characteristics of the design , Diagnostic coverage achieved
• Reviewing, improving, maintaining and creating product development safety procedures.
