Job Description

Gateshead JobsBaltic Recruitment are currently looking for keen Machine and Production Operatives for respected companies in and around the Gateshead area.This role is a great opportunity as it is an Ongoing position.NO EXPERIENCE NEEDEDShiftsWorking patterns will be initially Monday-Friday 8-4 for one week through initial training and staff inductions then operators will drop onto their continental shift pattern of 12 hour shifts 3 on/ 3 off alternating nights/days.Day shift 08:00 am - 20:00 pmNight shift 20:00 pm - 08:00 amJob role

  • Working in a busy production environment to achieve on time manufacturing of product to meet customer realise dates.
  • Be proactive in managing own workload ensuring prioritising of most time critical tasks.
  • Positively engage in continuous development and training on production processes
  • Performing routine maintenance and housekeeping on production equipment and within production areas
  • Performing quality assurance checks and in-process testing
  • Be proactive in troubleshooting production issues and working with senior production operator to swiftly resolve issues
  • Be good communicator with the ability to form positive working relationships across all teams on site
  • Ready to take on new challenges as the business grows and department develops
