This includes books, magazinesand even bills and statements: things that are essential for everyone, yet can be difficult to acquire if youre blind or partially sighted. This may range from the management of stock orders and management of stores, as well as supporting with other tasks where needed to ensure the operations run smoothly.Youll be responsible for providing reception duties, including meeting and greeting visitors and responding to queries as needed, both from visitors and internal teams as well as general enquiries.You will manage stock, ordering internally and externally and ensuring adequate stock levels. This will include ensuring all records related to orders are maintained to allow accurate payment of invoices for relevant reports. You will also play a vital partin the End-of-year stock take, working closely with Stores Team.Who were Looking for:As the role involves interaction with customers as well as stock organisation, this would be an ideal opportunity for someone from a retail or customer service background.You will be an effective communicator both in person, on the phone and in writing, feeling comfortable to speak to staff, customers and suppliers alike.You will pride yourself on your organisational skills and your attention to detail, being able to accurately count and input vital information. You will also be able to juggle workloads and adapt priorities to ensure deadlines are met as required.Experience in an operational support role or a similar setting would be ideal.
