With nearly 50 years of experience in machining and assembling critical subsea components and systems,they are a market leader in their field.As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will have direct experience of maintaining CNC MachineryTHE ROLEMaintaining CNC machinery, carrying out all necessary repairs and preventative maintenanceEnsuring machinery is safe and operational following any maintenance interactionEnsuring regular servicing schedules are maintained and prioritised around production demandsLiaising with external contractors to arrange support with repairs, spares or general guidanceBeing proactive on ways to improve machines or processUndertaking general building maintenance and repair tasks within your capabilitiesAssisting with waste disposal, including general, recyclable, and chemical wasteTHE PERSONBe a time served Maintenance TechnicianBe mechanically bias however, an understanding of electrical maintenance would be an advantageBe competent in carrying out general repairs to CNC machinery. Experience of Doosan, Mazak, HASS and / or DMG preferredHave health and safety awareness for Working at HeightA current forklift and or cherry-picker licence would be an advantageHave a can-do attitude and work well with others in a team environmentBe flexible in your approach - willing to work overtime when required to suit customer requirementsBe willing to pass on your knowledge and train othersTHE PACKAGEThis is a permanent role paying £16.88 per hour to work day shift only. The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7:30am-4pm and Friday 7:30am-12:30pm.
