They are recognised as a top employer and a company that builds successful partnerships with customers.They are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team in Felling.As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance on plant and equipment and ensuring minimum factory downtime and maximum machine availability. You will also be involved in finding and implementingsolutions for repeat breakdowns and continuous improvement activities. You will work safely and within recognised codes and practices, and update records accurately.To be considered for this role, you will need:• A four-year recognised electrical and mechanical trade qualification (or willing to upskill your qualifications to this level).• At least 3 years of experience in a similar industry, preferably on a COMAH site.• Strong diagnosis and fault-finding skills.• Knowledge of repairing and maintaining motors, instruments, pumps, valves, gearboxes, chain, and belt drives, conveying systems, palletisers and filling lines etc.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Ability to read, interpret and understand technical documents and drawings.• Working with permit to work systems.• Flexibility to work shifts and weekends when required.• Intermediate computer literacy skills.• Strong health & safety culture.An HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering would be an advantage but is not essential.We offer a competitive salary plus shift allowances and benefits, increasing on completion of training.
