THE BUSINESSA rare opportunity has arisen for a Property Manager to join an up and coming real estate company who specialise in student/professional lettings. Delivering a quality service is at the forefront of what they do, they are now actively seeking an experiencedProperty Manager who brings a strong work ethic with a desire to develop their career.THE ROLEOur client is looking at adding an experienced Property Manager to the team due to continuous growth. They are requiring someone with a minimum of three years’ experience who has ideally specialised in lettings to be able to come into the team and hit theground running. The role is fast paced and diverse with the core responsibilities being the following,
  • Working with local letting agents to ensure that they have up to date details of properties to let and answering any queries they may have
  • Dealing with any reported repairs required, organising for work to be carried out, and keeping records updated
  • Ensuring that all necessary legal requirements are up to date
  • Ensuring that tenants have all necessary paperwork
  • Checking tenants in and out of properties. This may require some weekend/ after 5pm work. (very infrequent)
  • Issuing contracts if necessary as these might have already been issued by letting agent
  • At checkout listing discussing any issues which may reduce deposit paid back to tenant, following through to deposit being repaid
  • Maintaining repair records
  • Ordering items to replace any which can no longer be repaired
  • Dealing with any issues/queries tenants may have
  • Maintaining rent payment records and follow ups if rents are not paid on time
THE PERSON
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within similar roles (ideally experienced with student lettings)
  • Full driving License and own car (Mileage allowance paid)
  • Confident, organised with a real drive to grow
