Job Description

Joiner and Multi SkilledJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: From £12.00 Per HourAdditional pay: Bonus schemeSchedule: 8-hour shift Mon-Fri.Work remotely: NoDue to a growth in contracts, our client is looking to hire an experienced Joiner / Multi skilled.The successful candidate/s will have experience in Social Housing refurbishments, Kitchen & Bathroom fitting, basic plumbing and be able to gloss and emulsion, plus some ability to plaster/skim/patch is an advantage.The candidate will be expected to:

  • Work as part of a 2-person team to produce high quality works and craftsmanship.
  • Own their tools, either Battery or 110.
  • Hold a current and valid CSCS card and Driving licence.
  • Have at least 3 years experience in this trade.
  • Have good workmanship and be able to produce quality first and second fix joinery.
The candidate will have the following attributes:
  • Be punctual and reliable, expected to turn up on time to sites in the Gateshead area.
The successful applicant will be employed directly and receive 28 days paid annual Holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays.Each team will have the use of a company Van which they will use to commute to and from site and during the working day as required, the driver will take the Van home in the evening and drop off / collect the teammate.COVID-19 considerations:
