Job Description

Title: Information Protection OfficerLocation: GatesheadWe are working with the leading provider of cloud accessibility and digital inclusion software. Their revolutionary SaaS toolbar is used by thousands of organisations and well known household names. They are looking for a talented Information ProtectionOfficer to join their fast growing and innovative tech company.This is a chance to belong to a super ambitious organisation and work closely with senior management to design and implement information security procedures which are aligned with ISO2700 as well as ensure full staff awareness of cyber security.Benefits

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Oversee information security throughout the business
  • Work with DevOps and SysOps teams to ensure maximum security of internal and external infrastructure and networks
  • Work on our annual Cyber Essentials + accreditation renewals
  • Good knowledge of ISO27001
  • Work with clients to complete their data protection impact assessment (DPIA) requirements
  • Were a global company so knowledge of legislation and information security best practice in our other jurisdictions (namely US and Australia) will be needed.
  • Experience of risk and incident management
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders on our penetration testing and OWASP testing.
