Job Title: Junior or Midweight Developer - Javascript Location: Gateshead - Fully Remote Working or Hybrid Working Salary: Up to £35k dep exp Our client is an exciting tech start-up who operate in the booming online education sector. They have already won awards with their digital learning platform and they have very exciting plans for growth over the coming years. They are already working with clientslike Sage, Northumbria Police and Your Move. They offer fully flexible and fully remote working or they have an office based in Gateshead where they can offer a hybrid working model. Theyre looking to bolster their growing team with the addition of a Junior or Midweight Developer to work with their Senior Developer and Head of Development. This role would suit an ambitious Junior or Midweight Developer who is eager to learn and progressand who wants to play an important role in a full platform build. We are keen to talk to any Developer who want to focus on either Frontend or Backend or across the Full Stack for this role. Skills Required: HTML5, CSS3, Javascript Back-end programming language (PHP or Node.js). Server-side CSS pre-processing platforms. Cross-browser compatibility issues. Development aiding and code versioning tools (git, bower, gulp). CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, foundation, bourbon). Understanding of SEO principles. Digital Design tools (Photoshop, Adobe Experience Design & Sketch). Role and Responsibilities: Build reusable code and libraries. Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. Back-end development. Implement server, networking, and hosting environments. Interact with APIs. Understand and advise on technical specifications for EDMs and social media. Build, assess and integrate responsive EDMs into email distribution platforms.
