THE BUSINESSWestray Recruitment Group is delighted to bring to you a client who are looking for Fork Lift Truck Driver to work on an ongoing basis for our client based in Team Valley.You will be working for the largest manufacturers of product in their field for some of the biggest brand names in the world. The products produced by the business emphasize renewability and recyclability which demonstrates their passion which is protectingthe environment and giving back to the communities they work in.The business is values-led and are looking for people who mirror those values of respect, integrity and teamwork.There are permanent roles available for the right candidates and a possible pay increase once permanent.THE ROLEThe role itself is fast paced requiring good levels of accuracy. You will be working 36 hours weekly, working a continental shift pattern (3 on, 3 off – 12-hour shifts, starting at 6am or 6pm). We also need Candidates who are flexible to pick up additionalshifts where possible to meet business demands.
  • Load and unload vehicles operating Forklift Trucks
  • Receive Goods in and maintain the computer systems within the warehouse to ensure that they are stored in named locations for easy retrieval
  • Ensure all goods leave the company in excellent condition and meet all of the customer packing specifications
  • Control of board stocks (and if required corrugated outers/finished goods)
  • Responsible for the accurate checking, signing and control of all associated documentation
  • Ensure our stock rotation systems are accurately updated and maintained
  • Be involved in monthly stock checks within the department and be involved in stocktaking of warehouse goods
  • Carry out necessary vehicle checks and report/maintain them at all times
  • Ensure good working relationships with all departments
  • Provide cover for holidays/absence as required
  • Please be aware - No smoking is allowed on site and employees are not allowed off site during their breaks due to hygiene regulations.
THE PERSON
  • An in date and valid fork lift Counterbalance licence is essential
  • The ability to work with accuracy and at a fast pace
  • Flexible to work various shift times
  • Physically able to carry out various warehousing and production duties
  • Excellent team player who can work efficiently in a wide variety of situations and independently
  • Strong communication skills and ability to provide timely and constructive feedback
  • Have a conscientious and enthusiastic manner with a strong work ethic and the desire to succeed
