Job Description

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.Job Title:Employment CoachLocation:Tyne and Wear - Must be flexible with travelSalary:£26,000 - £30,000 (Depending on experience + fantastic benefits!)Package:Excellent Holiday Entitlement,Pension+ Much More!Type:Full Time, PermanentAn exciting opportunity awaits a motivated and engaging individual who is looking to support the wider community and lower unemployment rates.The Role:

  • To engage, motivate and provide personalised support to unemployed individuals through to gaining sustainable employment opportunities via face-to-face meetings, telephone appointments, group activities and other digital channels.
  • Support clients with CV writing and job search techniques.
  • You will provideinformation to participantsabout the service available, buildrelationships, case manage, identifysupport requirements andcarry out vocational profiling.
  • Conduct 1:1 and group-based Employability training.
  • Carry out pre-work assessments and agree on in-work support actions once the participant is successful in securing employment.
  • Ensure data is kept up to date via our clients CRM systems.
  • Work towards own personal monthly targets.
Essential Criteria:
  • Must have experience of working within a similar role in Employability or publicly funded service.
  • Must have experience of working with participants from varying backgrounds, e.g. those with disabilities, offending backgrounds and ethnic minorities.
  • Must hold a recognised IAG qualification or equivalent/similar.
  • Must have the ability to demonstrate coaching/mentoring and persuasion/influencing experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
