Job Description

Interaction Recruitment are currently representing our niche client based in the Gateshead area, who are looking for an Electrical Installation Supervisor to join their team on a Permanent basis.This is a Hands on- Field based role, working all around the UK & Highlands.Applicants must be flexible to work away from home when required, Monday to Friday (costs covered by business).This opportunity offers a basic salary of between £36,000- £40,000 D.O.E with Overtime available & also a company Bonus scheme which is paid annually (subject to profitability).Standard working hours are 40 hours per week.Monday to Friday: 08:00-16:00 with Overtime available.Company Benefits Include:

The Role:Reporting directly to the Project Co-Ordinator, the Industrial Electrical Installation Supervisor will:
  • Take responsibility for the installations of fire prevention / spark detection systems.
  • Supervise a small team of engineers and sub-contractors.
  • Deal with client requests on site.
  • Attend progress meetings with both project co-ordinator and clients.
  • Liaise with project co-ordinator daily by producing reports, highlighting any issues that may arise and providing effective resolutions.
  • Installing of fire & spark detection devices.
  • Control box wiring.
  • Assisting in pipework and ducting installations.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Will hold an 18th Edition Electrical Installation/Wiring Qualification.
  • Have experience as an Electrical Engineer in an Industrial environment.
  • Must have previous experience in a Supervisory role, preferably in an Industrial Engineering environment.
  • Will have experience in the Installations of safety detection system installations.
  • Have basic knowledge of industrial pipefitting.
  • Hold a IPAF & CSCS card.
  • CCNSG Safety qualification.
  • Excellent Organisational, Communication & Problem-Solving skills.
  • Hold a full clean UK Driving Licence.
  • Must be flexible to working away to various areas in the UK & Highlands Weekdays when required.
