Job Description

THE COMPANYWe are delighted to bring you the opportunity to join a dynamic, e-commerce and digital marketing company, to be based at their site in Gateshead as a Digital Marketing Executive.With a welcoming and collaborative environment, open plan offices and a vibrant team of specialists, this is a chance for you to use your talent and experience to join a creative organisation of like-minded experts.THE ROLEAs an experienced Digital Marketing Executive, you will work in an all-encompassing digital marketing role, with a specific focus on Search Engine Optimisation. You will work within a very close-knit team of talented and highly motivated people, bringing a passion for digital marketing.Your duties will include:

  • Owning, developing and implementing effective SEO strategies for a portfolio of ecommerce stores
  • Performance monitoring and analysis of all marketing channels
  • Using HTML and CSS to implement and update CMS pages in collaboration with the design team
  • Maintaining and improving the product catalogue using suggestions from the team and your own initiative
  • Contributing to and assisting with the overall marketing strategy including social media, PPC, affiliate marketing, email marketing and retargeting
    • THE EXPERIENCE To be considered for the Digital Marketing Executive role, you will bring the following skills and experience:
  • At least 1 years’ experience of Search Engine Optimisation
  • Confident and experienced with Google Analytics / Search Console
  • Good HTML / CSS understanding
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills
  • Data analysis skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passionate about digital marketing, with a desire to keep on top of new techniques and share best practices
    • Whilst not essential, the following would also be preferred:
  • An understanding of Javascript
  • A/B testing experience
  • Experience with Magento 1, 2 or similar CMS
    • THE SALARYYou will receive a basic annual salary of between £20,000 and £25,000 for this position, depending on your experience.THE CONTRACTThis is full-time, permanent position, working 40 hours a week between Monday and Friday.You will receive 20 days’ holiday (+ 8 bank holidays), there is free parking onsite, a pension scheme and the company offers free private healthcare to all employees.INTERESTEDPlease send a copy of your CV and accompanying covering letter to Katie Newton at Required skills
