Job Description

Central Employment are working in partnership with a fast growing eCommerce Retail brand based in Gateshead, as they look to expand their in-house Customer Service team, with the appointment of a Customer Service Representative.With four globally recognised online stores and a rapidly growing customer base, the company requires someone to offer customer e-mail support, live chat assistance, process orders, telephone handling, returns processing and up-selling our fantastic products.Your roles and responsibilities:

  • Respond to customers accurately and in a timely manner
  • Communicate via our live chat and help build rapport
  • Verbally provide assurance to our customer’s queries
  • Take the opportunity to upsell our amazing products
  • Processing returned orders efficiently
  • Achieving targets and goals set by management
  • Love the product and our customers
  • Outbound calls to generate feedback and sales from customers
  • Take ownership of customers queries until fully resolved
  • Resolve escalated complaints until a satisfactory resolution reached
Essential requirements:
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Strong communication skills, with a natural flair for conversation
  • Excellent English, maths and IT skills
  • Passionate about sales and providing the best customer experience
  • Understanding the needs of the customer and putting these first
  • Keen to learn about our ever-growing products and services
  • Effective time management
  • Committing to getting the job done right first time and using initiative
  • Openness to giving and receiving feedback
  • Effective when working on projects with the team
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Ability to show empathy
Desirable requirements:
  • Experience using Zendesk
  • Driving license
  • Experience working in retail or fashion
