Chartered Surveyor Full-time. Permanent. Remote Role. Our clients are looking for a Chartered Surveyor to join their Survey team, covering the whole of the North East of England.Their Survey department is based in Newcastle, but this is a remote based role with requirements to travel across the whole of the North East to conduct surveys and valuations.They are looking to grow their Survey department by adding to their team of qualified Chartered Surveyors. The surveyor will need to have a strong background in residential and commercial property and will need to be MRICS or FRICS qualified.Responsibilities will include: Producing accurate and high-quality valuation reports to their lender and private clientsStrong market knowledge and to keep up to date with market changesObserving RICS regulatory requirements and to be aware of any changes, including those in respect of the Red BookUnderstanding the company’s policies and procedures including those relating to Quality Assurance, Health & SafetyProviding high levels of customer serviceYou must have: MRICS or FRICSRegistered ValuerSound technical surveying knowledgeExperience managing clients and their expectations coupled with a strong understanding of profitability, business development, and sound commercial awareness.Sound knowledge of drafting technical documentsFull understanding of Health and Safety requirementsExcellent time management, punctuality and commitment to getting the job doneMeticulous nature and an eye for detailA full driving licence and prepared to travel as requiredStrong IT skillsAbility to present well with good literacy and numeracy skillsExperience of managing clients and their expectationsPersonal Qualities: Excellent communication skills and client-facing experienceProfessional mannerAbility to solve problemsExcellent interpersonal skillsCommercially awareBuilder of strong working relationshipsSelf-motivatedAble to work alone and as part of a teamGood report and letter writing skills Innovative and proactiveCompany benefits include:Generous salaryCar allowancePension schemeBonus scheme25 days annual leaveBank Holidays offCareer developmentProfessional fees paidSocial events
