We need to care about people, and we always like to have a littlefun as we do it.More About the Yard Operative Role:We are looking Yard Operativesto ensure the smooth movement of trailers and stock in the yard and around the site.This is a very exciting job opportunity for someone to join a vibrant team and not afraid of multi-tasking.Heres What You Can Expect To Be Doing As Our Yard Operative:Working within a fast paced Depot ensuring the safe transportation of trailers around site, your job will also include preparing all trailers to be loaded and ensure it is safe to begin loading goods onto the trailer, also:- Weighing of trailers- Transporting trailers around the site- Ensure trailers are always secured during loading and unloading- Comply with health and safety requirementsA Few Things About Our Yard Operative:Essential - Punctuality- Shunter certificate- Full UK Driving License- Must have previous shunting experience- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Close attention to detail- 4-on/4-off continental shift pattern- Must be able to work shifts above.Desirable - Shunter Driver experience within the last two years.Why Choose AO:Its not about the job you need now, its about who you want to be and where you want go.
