Job Description

Accounts Payable / Garforth / £25,000 - £26,000 / Contract / Hybrid or Remote (two days in the office per month)A market leading manufacturing business with offices around the world are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable professional. This role is for six months and has the potential to become permanent. The purpose of the role will be to support theteam and ensure all invoices are processed correctly and within set timeframes. Based in their luxury offices near Garforth, this is a great opportunity to develop your skills further, within an organisations that takes pride in looking after its employeesas well as the environment.Reporting in the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the duties will include:

  • Support the Team to ensure invoices are processed accurately prior to them falling overdue
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the P2P Invoicing process and ensure this is shared with the wider team as appropriate
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders and act as an escalation route where required
  • Full autonomy for invoice query handling and any transactional movement needed on the Supplier accounts unless escalations needed
  • Checking & Reconciling Supplier payments
  • Resolving queries
The ideal candidate will have experience of being in a similar position within a fast paced organisation, a good understanding of accounts payable and confident with dealing with P2P processes.
