Job Description

Experienced part-time Gardener required for small private estate in Fulmer, BuckinghamshireDuties will include:

Care and maintenance of a landscape garden, that is mostly lawn, trees, shrubs and hedges

Weeding, feeding, mulching of all beds and pots

Pruning of shrubs

Trimming hedges

All trees to be seasonably fertilised and mulched. Establish an ongoing program to maintain and enhance tree health

New plantings as needed on an annual basis

Establish a regular watering system for all garden beds, pots and the bigger trees that were brought in as mature specimens. Make provision for watering of all trees when in drought conditions

Look after/maintain all-in ground watering systems and water supply

Care of lawns - weed spraying and seasonal fertilising

Requirements:

Experienced Estate Gardener (not contractor)

Knowledgeable

Physically fit and active

Live locally to Fulmer

Car driver and owner

Cheerful disposition

Required 2 days per week (possibly 1 day a week during the winter)8 hours per day£ 20.00 - £ 25.00 per hour (on a self-employed basis)
