Great new role available!Ashley Kate are delighted to be supporting a private education provider, based in London as they look to recruit for a full - time, permanent HR Assistant.The salary for this role is up to £30k, depending on experience.This role will be predominately based on siteHR Assistant:Purpose of the role:This will be a fast paced role, with a great opportunity to develop as a HR professional. Reporting to the HR Advisor, the HR Assistant will be responsible for maintaining personnel records and assisting the HR Advisor with a range of HR practices.Responsibilities include:·Support the full recruitment life cycle for appointing academic and non-academic staff. ·Advertise vacancies and provide an excellent candidate experience to prospective applicants. ·Maintain the school website with accurate information regarding vacancies and relevant documents. ·Track applications, prepare shortlisting packs and liaise with candidates and hiring managers for interviews. ·Assist the HR Advisor with obtaining relevant pre-appointment checks for successful applicants. ·Assist the HR Advisor with onboarding successful candidates and ensuring they have a smooth induction process. ·Under the guidance of the HR Advisor, ensure that the Single Central Record is kept up to date and is compliant with Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance. ·Create and maintain employee records, physically and in relevant databases (iSAMS and SuccessFactors). ·Ensure compliance with mandatory training and maintain evidence. ·Ensure compliance with Right to Work and maintain evidence. ·Keep up to date with changes in employment law, guidance and best practice and inform as necessary. ·Assist the HR Advisor with day-to-day enquiries and projects. ·Ensure the completion of leaver paperwork, arrange exit interviews and archive files as necessary. ·Support the preparation of documentation for internally promoted staff. ·Assist with other HR projects where required. ·Assist the HR Advisor with monthly Payroll. ·Minute taking.Experience required:·Experience of working in a regulated sector such as school, College or University. ·System focused with ability to pick up new systems quickly. ·Excellent organisation and planning skills. ·Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal ·CIPD qualification, would be advantageous. ·Proven experience of using HR systems or school databases ·Good experience of using Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) ·Ability to cope well under pressure and meet deadlinesThis is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate seeking the a new and exciting opportunity.If interested please contact Darren Keeling on or call
