This role reports into the Salaries Supervisor.The purpose of the role is to assist with administrative duties within the Payroll Team.The role will include:

Processing and payment of monthly salaried staff and pensioners across our national group, including starters and leavers
Dealing with employee enquiries and advising both employees and management on all aspects of payroll
Assist with the setup of new starters, removal of leavers, pay calculations, HMRC reporting, sick pay and holiday recording, pay deductions

What we need from you

Previous experience in a high volume data input position within a finance department role or similar
Payroll experience is ideal, however other finance experience is also relevant
Accuracy and numeracy skills
Experience using Microsoft Word & Excel
Ability to work to tight deadlines and be flexible in the tasks undertaken.
You must have a positive outlook together with a professional attitude.
