The FibreNest network, with its scale and national reach, will ensureour customers ever-growing need for bandwidth-intensive services is fully supported.Were looking for people like you, and this could be your opportunity to start Building Your New Possible.What is the rolePersimmon FibreNest is looking for a 12-14 months Finance Manager - maternity cover.As the Finance Manager you will provide financial support and reports to the FibreNest Managing Director and FibreNest leadership team to aid strategic business decisions.The role will include:

  • Overseeing and managing the end-to-end finance operation, financial planning and analysis
  • Providing support and cover to the Management Accountant ensuring that month end reporting requirements are achieved accurately and on time
  • Review and submit financial group reports including monthly forecast, bi-monthly management accounts and annual budget
  • Attend periodic management and board meetings and present the operational period results accurately and concisely to the management team
  • Leading and managing the annual budget process and working closely with the leadership team to submit the budget to group deadlines
  • Work closely with the FibreNest leadership team and Management Accountant by providing cost analysis to ensure viability of projects and modelling of commercial deals
  • Support the finance team to ensure business continuity, that objectives and goals are achieved and aim to maximise efficiencies by updating reports and processes
  • Proactively communicate within the business to ensure it operates within an effective and efficient control environment
  • Ensure risks are identified and mitigated in accordance with the requirements of the internal audit function
  • Implementing relevant procedures and controls to ensure efficient and effective support can be provided to the business by the finance department
  • Any other duties reasonably required by the Managing Director and Group Credit Controller
What we need from you
  • Fully qualified in a recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Must have recent Finance Manager or a similar role experience
  • Experience within the technology and internet provision sector would also be an advantage but is not essential
  • Ability to demonstrate a professional approach to the working environment, possess commercial awareness, and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work confidently on your own, as part of a wider team and manage a small team
  • Working towards tight deadlines without compromising attention to detail
  • Ability to research, analyse and present data
  • Well organised with strong mathematical skills and high level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel
