    • Purpose of Job
  • To work to the documented cleaning procedures to meet the Environmental, Hygiene, Customer, and Health & Safety requirements within the production environment. This will predominantly involve disassembling and reassembling packing lines, and cleaning all lines and parts to the required standards. Environmental & ancillary cleaning (e.g cleaning wall, floors, offices, toilets) will be part of the role.
    • Principal Accountabilities
  • To ensure Health & Safety and Hygiene policies are adhered to along with general rules and regulations.
  • Understand and observe health and safety rules and be aware of the safety of self and others to promote a safe working environment.
  • To disassemble all lines, clean and reassemble to the required standards.
  • To fulfill tasks and operations as detailed within the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Description form.
  • To ensure all equipment is cleaned to the correct hygiene standard and to pass all swabbing tests
  • To work as part of a team and to assist work colleagues in the fulfillment of their duties for the greater good of the team.
  • To ensure and up hold good house keeping & Personal Hygiene.
  • Carry out basic manual activities to maintain efficient factory operation.
  • Understand and perform housekeeping and hygiene activity to plant and surrounding work areas to meet required schedules and standards /methods
  • Show team members how to carry out tasks in own area of expertise and be involved in their assessment by providing feedback to assist in the training of a flexible team.
  • To ensure that all cleaning equipment is left in a clean condition, and stored in a safe and tidy manner.
  • To ensure that all rubbish and debris is removed to external rubbish skips.
  • To make themselves fully conversant with all equipment and chemicals before attempting to operate/use.
  • The above accountabilities are not all embracing and the jobholder will occasionally be required to undertake other duties if deemed necessary.
