Job Description

  • Role- Complex care support worker
  • Pay:£11.50 - £12 ph
  • Location: Frodsham
  • Hours:Full time and part time 33 hours and 22 hours a week

I am a gentleman in my mid 60s, I live with my wife and require full time care.I enjoy humour and this makes me smile, I am nonverbal and unable to communicate but once you get to know me and my facial reactions you will get to learn my likes and dislikes.I have Corticobasal degeneration (CBD) which means i need full support in all aspects of my care needs.I am seeking passionate, pro active Personal Assistants to join my committed circle of support comprising of a small team who work closely with my family. Together they provide me with both a bespoke life that is truly meaningful to me and an outstandingstandard of care in a friendly environment.Currently I spend most of my days at home and love being outside and enjoying the sunshine as I used to enjoy traveling with my wife and have always been a sun worshiper.My team are also responsible for supporting me with all aspects of daily life, including personal care,, administering medication, domestic duties when needed.Experience in supporting people with similar needs, an understanding of person centred practice would be wonderful but isnt crucial as full training and supervision is provided and ultimately it is more important that you possess the core values and personalitytraits that are necessary for the role. Kindness and compassion are key!You will need to be empathetic, a true team player, have excellent communication skills and be comfortable in making decisions and using your initiative.I am looking for a caring, conscientious individuals, who are happy to work 09.00- 20.00, Reliability and punctuality are important.You will be someone who is cheerful, respectful, patient and someone who wants to make a real difference, Ideally will be a driver.This post is subject to a full Enhanced Disclosure and satisfactory references (costs will be covered by the company)The City and County Healthcare Group is an equal opportunities employer#MP1
