Frinton-on-Sea Lawn Tennis Club has a rich heritage of 120 years. The Club provides a wide range of sporting activities, including tennis, squash, gym, fitness classes, swimming, walking football, and croquet. Social activities include weddings and numerous events.We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Assistant to drive the Club’s ambitions forward through the use of the latest marketing techniques.Job PurposeDevelop strong and innovative marketing strategies using SEO, SEM, PPC and other techniques to achieve Club objectives.Drive traffic to Club pages and generate interest in the Sports and Social Activities offered by the Club.Create engaging written, graphic and video content while staying up to date on latest marketing technologies and social mediaJob DutiesImplement the Club’s marketing strategy in line with Club objectivesImplement SEO, SEM & PPC strategiesCreate and manage link building, content marketing and social media strategiesInnovate and present new marketing platforms and strategiesDevise strategies to drive online traffic to the Club’s websitePlan and execute multiplatform marketing campaigns including both online and print, email and social media.Manage all internal communicationsManage, supply content for and continuously improve the Club’s websiteDevelop engaging print and online content including clickbait, forums, video, graphics and blogs; monitor and analyse content successCreate awareness of the Club’s brandWork closely with the Club’s Events & Wedding Manager and Sports Managers to advertise and market the Club’s objectives and specific day to day requirementsWork closely with the Club’s Membership Manager to ensure that membership data is correctPrepare and manage the Club’s marketing budgetDesign and organise marketing materialsSkills & Qualifications RequiredBachelor’s degree in marketing or related subject desirable3 years relevant experienceStrong creative writing skills and verbal communication skillsTeam and goal orientated biasStrong attention to detailGood organisation and planning skillsExperience in most of the following: SEO, SEM, PPC, Google AdWorks, Content Management Systems, Photoshop, InDesign, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Microsoft OfficeSolid knowledge of website analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Net Insight, Omniture, WebtrendsKnowledge of marketing weddings an advantage
