Job Description

Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference in Young People’s Lives in an Education SettingWithin this role we are looking for a team player who has the ability to lead other and has a real passion for working with Young People in an Education setting. You will be supporting post-16 learners with SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), who previously have disengaged or had barriers to learning. You will be supporting the students participate in a group work Employability Programme setting enabling them to progress both with learning and progress into either paid Employment, Training or Supported Internships.You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the project on a day to day basis, engaging with local employers to offer work based opportunities and ensuring best outcomes for students at the project.We would like to hear from you if you have experiences in this area and have a positive attitude around change and challenge and are committed to finding the best solution of the students and families regardless of barriers.If you would like to join us please submit your CV and personal statement clearly evidencing:

Engagement and working with children and young people, their families and external agencies involved

Experience of using restorative practice to engage students with SEMH in education and work experience

A degree or professional qualification of minimum Level 4

Experience of employer engagement and developing work based experiences

Previous experience of Line Management and Supervision of staff
