The FBIRC is the Level 1 specialist inter-disciplinary neuro-rehabilitation centre serving the South West region. The centre operates within a joint working arrangement betweenNorth Bristol NHS Trust and Active Care Group.A very rewarding and satisfying job - working with patients who benefit greatly from the activity programme.We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Activities Co-ordinator, on a part time, permanent contract, to join our existing team. The successful candidate will jointly develop and run a programme of social and recreational activities to meetthe needs of brain injured patients in the acute rehabilitation setting.What youll be working:26 hours worked over 7 days, including weekends and evenings.What youll be doing:We are looking for an individual who is able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and under their own initiative. The post holder will be responsible for planning, organising and implementing a social, recreational, and leisure activity programmein partnership with our existing Activities Co-ordinators. This will involve individual and group activities within the unit and the wider community. The post holder will work closely with the multi-disciplinary therapy team. You will personally run and deliversome of the activities and also support staff to be involved in the activity programme.The post also involves driving the Centre Minibus and Car.What youll have:

• Candidates will ideally have an interest and experience in running groups.
• You will understand the value of activity and structure in an acute rehabilitation setting
• Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
