Job Description

Location: Hybrid role split between working from our client’s offices in Derbyshire and working remotely (1 day per week following training period)Do you want to work for a global leader in the development and manufacture of cutting edge automated pharmaceutical testing equipment who are preferred suppliers many of the top 10 globally renowned pharmaceutical companies!Are you a Field Service Engineer and want to reduce your travel but still utilise your skills and experience in servicing dissolution and physical testing equipment from providers such as Distek, Agilent, Copley Scientific, Erweka or similar!OR are you a Chemist, Scientist or QC Analyst with hands on experience of using and troubleshooting dissolution systems in a GMP environment and are craving a challenging client facing dissolution technical support role!If you said yes to the above, then this brand-new role could be perfect for you!The requirements of the Technical Support & Product Specialist - Pharmaceutical Dissolution Testing Equipment:

  • You will have 1+ years experience as either a Field Service Engineer or Onsite Engineer with experience servicing dissolution equipment in a pharmaceutical regulated environment
  • You could be an aspiring Field Service Engineer who is currently working as Scientist, Chemist, Analyst, Equipment Technician, Lab Manager or similar where you have troubleshooted and maintained dissolution equipment in a pharmaceutical regulated GMP environment
  • Experience working in a GMP environment is important
  • You will be educated in either a life science/chemistry or engineering subject
  • Must hold a Full UK driving license & valid UK passport
The role of the Technical Support & Product Specialist - Pharmaceutical Dissolution Testing Equipment:
  • Provide expert and timely technical product support and training to both customers and internal colleagues via phone, email and in person for our clients industry leading dissolution pharmaceutical testing equipment and associated products
  • Deliver high quality product demonstrations when required at the state of the art on site laboratory and oversee the efficient running of the laboratory
  • Identify new customers or new market segments that could become long term accounts
  • Forge and maintains relationship with existing and new customers
  • Promote the company’s brand and range of services where applicable
  • Maintain knowledge of the products and services
Salary & Benefits:
  • Negotiable & Competitive Base Salary (DOE)
  • Pension - 6% employer contribution with a minimum 3% employee contribution after 3 months continuous employment
