Company description:.Job description:Are you an experienced HGV Driver with C+E entitlement and happy with tramping out Monday - FridayWere looking for full-time, permanent Class 1 Trampers to join us at our site in Foston, Derbyshire.We work with a number of customers including B&Q, Huel and Kettle Foodsexciting stuff!You will be working predominately MondayFriday with tramping out all week but we would definitely welcome a conversation if you were looking to do a mixture of home and tramping work. There will also be some odd weekend work due to business needs.Pay, benefits and more:

  • We will be looking to offer a rate of £13.00 per hour for your permanent 48 hours with additional earnings of £34.41 per night out.
  • After this, the pay rate will increase to £17.00 per hour for any overtime with a rate of £20.00 per hour for Sunday work.
  • You will also be paid an extra £1.50 per hour for any hours worked between 22:0006:00.
  • On average with the pay rates we have mentioned, you are looking at your OTE earnings being between £50,000 - £52,000 per annum.
  • Your pay will also be paid every 4 weeks which means you will get paid 13 times a year instead of 12,
  • Youll also receive holiday pay, access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as cycle to work scheme,
  • A workplace pension and many other perks.
What youll do on a typical day:
  • Carry out pre and after use vehicle checks in line with company policy
  • Ensure that all customer deliveries are made on time and in line with company procedure
  • Monitor and report any vehicle defects and wear and tear
  • Complete all paperwork accurately and on time
  • Tramping out in the lorry Monday-Friday with the odd occasional weekend work
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Full UK driving licence (with C&E entitlement)
  • No more than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements)
  • An in-date Driver Qualification card and a digital tachograph license.
