Work with Children with Challenging BehavioursAre you an experienced and skilled Residential Support or Youth Worker Have you worked with children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs Are you able to support children to manage and regulate challenging behavioursAre you looking for your next step, with a better work/life balance Would you like a role where you could continue to make a difference, and use your skills in behaviour management, emotional and pastoral support, but with shorter shifts and no overnightsThe JobWorking in schools across North Staffordshire, Stoke on Trent, and Newcastle under Lyme, your role will be part teaching classroom assistant, and part pastoral support worker.Never a day the same as the last, you will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher to enable them to teach effectively- ensuring that the children you will care for are kept on task, helped to manage their behaviour, and to engage and communicatewith their peers and teachers.Youll be emotionally resilient, and able to handle whatever challenges the day throws at you. Youll be driven, determined, and passionate about setting up the children for the best possible lives.Youll Be

Experienced working with young people with SEMH, autism, ADHD, or other disabilities and needs
Able to hold student attention and focus with excellent communication skills
Promote happiness, self-reliance and encourage positive interactions
