Job Description

Job DescriptionNational Care Group are recruiting for Support Workers to join our team in Fordham.We have a variety of Full Time/PartTime contracts and Bank positions available, working a combination of morning (7:00 am - 3:00 pm) , and day shifts ( 2:00 pm -10:00 pm) other shifts available.We are recruiting Support Workers for a brand new home consisting of 7 individual flats for Adults with Learning Difficulties, Autism and Challenging Behaviours. Each flat is tailored to each service user to ensure they receive the best support possible. We have on site managers and regular input from an experienced PBS Specialist to ensure staff have all the training and on going support required for the role.The Support Worker RoleAs a Support Worker, you will play an active and pivotal role in supporting vulnerable adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health conditions throughout their day to day lives, all with the aim of providing as much independence as possible. Responsibilities include:· Develop and maintain a warm trusting relationship with service users· Offer unconditional positive regard to service users, to respect their right to privacy and to ensure their dignity is maintained at all times· Enable service users to achieve their goals and dreams by working alongside them to develop and implement within their person-centred plans.· Support service users in maintaining the safety, security, cleanliness and comfort of their homes.· Enable service users to become as independent as possible and to grow in confidence, competence and personal effectiveness· Support people to enjoy a wide range of activities within the home and community that meet their needs.· Observe and monitor the service users’ emotional and physical well-being and to inform the Registered Manager, families and other agenciesRewards and BenefitsIn return for your dedication as our Support Worker, you will receive a competitive rate of £9.00 per hour (dependant on experience).
