Job Description

Our client, a rapidly expanding composite UPVC door manufacturer based in Gateshead are looking for multiple Production Operatives to start ASAP.If you have the desire to learn and do a good job, have a great work ethic, and want to do your best apply today!Basic Outline:

Reporting to the Team Leader and working as part of a busy team.
Working on a fast-paced production line.
Busy production environment with some manual handling and heavy lifting.
Visual quality inspection and a keen eye for detail.
Using a range of different hand tools and air tools.

Essential Requirements:

Experience with an assembly style production environment.
Manual handling experience of heavy loads as this will be required.
Previous experience using hand-held power tools and air tools is essential.
Proactive approach to tasks and can work effectively in a busy environment.
Must be flexible to work either day or back shift.

Desirable (but not essential) requirements:

Specific experience gained in doors or window fabrication (training will be provided)
Hold a UK Drivers Licence and have access to a vehicle.

Salary and Shifts:This will be a temporary position with a view to a permanent contract after your 12th week. The role has 2-shifts which are day shift 06:45 - 15:15 (£8.91 per hour) and back shift 14:45 -23:15 (£10.84 per hour).
