Job Description

Our client based in Folkestone, Kent, is looking people who can demonstrate excellent communication and problem solving skills, be enthusiastic and a team player with a positive attitude to learning, to work on their high speed automated production line.As a night shift production operator, you will ensure that your high-speed production line runs effectively and efficiently, ensuring that problems and faults are rectified quickly and ensure that quality and good manufacturing checks are carried out. Workingas part of a small team, you will be involved in ordering and loading components, line start up checks, change overs and wash downs, controlling parameters using computers to run the line, reading and understanding alarms and problem solving any issues thatarise.Responsibilities of a night shift production operator:

  • To operate allocated machines on different manufacturing lines safely, effectively and efficiently.
  • Navigating HMIs
  • Adjusting fill weights/volumes
  • Clearing blockages
  • Component replenishment
  • Fault finding and issue resolution
  • Able to complete changeover between products and orders, including:
  • Strip, clean and sanitise product contact parts of machinery and/or pipework
  • Adjust and re position parts, following SOPs
  • Conduct micro test monitoring
  • Reconstruct equipment
Experience
  • Previous experience of working within a FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) manufacturing environment would be desirable.
  • Basic understanding of Mathematics and working with computers.
  • A good standard of verbal and written English.
  • Previous experience of using SAP would be an advantage.

  • Sign On Bonus- £2,000 (£500 on completion of 3 month probation, £500 after 6 months and £1,000 after 1 year with the company, this will be subject to tax & NI)
