Job Title: Night Shift Production OperatorLocation: Folkestone, KentHours: 12 hour shift 4 on 4 offAre you looking to work for a forward thinking, progressive company who really cares about their employees Do you want to work for a company where you really feel valued and appreciated Do you want to work for a company who has invested a lot of time andmoney over the past few years in making sure their employees working environment is modern and right for them and provides training and career progressionOur client based in Folkestone, Kent, is looking people who can demonstrate excellent communication and problem solving skills, be enthusiastic and a team player with a positive attitude to learning, to work on their high speed automated production line.You will be working 4 days on, 4 days off and will be permanently on night shifts (6pm-6am) You will ensure that your high-speed production line runs effectively and efficiently, ensuring that problems and faults are rectified quickly and ensure that qualityand good manufacturing checks are carried out. Working as part of a small team, you will be involved in ordering and loading components, line start up checks, change overs and wash downs, controlling parameters using computers to run the line, reading andunderstanding alarms and problem solving any issues that arise.ResponsibilitesTo operate allocated machines on different manufacturing lines safely, effectively and efficiently.Navigating HMIsAdjusting fill weights/volumesClearing blockagesComponent replenishmentFault finding and issue resolutionAble to complete changeover between products and orders, including:Strip, clean and sanitise product contact parts of machinery and/or pipeworkAdjust and reposition parts, following SOPsConduct micro test monitoringReconstruct equipmentPrevious experience of working within a FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) manufacturing environment would be desirable.You must have a basic understanding of Mathematics and working with computers.A good standard of verbal and written English.Previous experience of using SAP would be an advantage.This is a great opportunity to be part of a well-established company, so if you feel you have the relevant experience, then please apply with an up to date CV.
