Job Description

We are looking for a Marketing Executive for our client based in Hythe, Kent. This position will support the Marketing Team with integrated campaigns and appeals by leading on third party and social media channels. Work closely with the Marketing Executive(content) to ensure they are aware of upcoming content requirements. Plan far ahead ensuring they have the content needed for awareness days, campaigns, seasonal activities, day to day BAU content, appeals and overseas update.Key responsibilities:

  • Lead on the implementation of the social media strategy.
  • Management of social media channels
  • Responsible for social media monitoring and handling of messages and comments following the correct escalation procedure.
  • Lead on the social media calendar planner for the year; planning, scheduling and posting content to align with awareness days, campaigns, seasonal activities, appeals and overseas updates
  • Work closely with the Marketing Executive (content) to manage content creation and design for social channels which will increase engagement and reach
  • Lead on activity within community groups, events, and listings on social media, and jump on new trends and viral content
  • Lead on paid social activity ensuring we are optimising, testing, and keeping within budget
  • Stay up to date on all social media policies, updates and best practices
  • Ensure the alignment of content across all channels ties in with wider marketing campaigns and messaging
  • Analyse the performance of campaigns and content on social media and use findings to inform future decisions
  • Implement and lead on an influencer strategy with the support of the Assistant Marketing Manager
  • Lead on the roll out of competitions with third party sites and monitor engagement and performance
  • Ensure all third party blogs, news listings and community groups are kept up to date and in line with wider marketing comms
  • Provide support account management to the Assistant Marketing Manager for some of the third party relationships
  • Provide content for third party relationship to use on their social channels and website
Requirements:
  • Experience of Canva and Photoshop
  • Previous relevant experience in a marketing role
  • Working knowledge of marketing techniques
  • Good working knowledge of social media channels and best practices

Salary up to £25,000 DOE. 40 hours per week, usually worked Monday - Friday 9-5pm. On the occasion, you might be required to work a weekend day dependant on business needs.
