Job Description

Cover SupervisorFolkestone, KentImmediate Start Available£90 - £110 Are you an inspiring and engaging Cover Supervisor This is an exciting opportunity to join a Secondary School in Folkstone. We are looking for a Cover Supervisor who will have the ability to cover lessons and be part of creating a constructive learning place.A Cover Supervisor will provide a vital service to their school during times of need and are critical to the running of a successful school. A cover supervisor will provide general cover across multiple subjects by delivering pre-prepared lessons and supervising classes completing their work. A cover supervisor will monitor safeguardingconcerns, provide pastoral care and manage behaviour in a classroom setting.Benefits of being a cover supervisor for Pearson Whiffin Education means:

You could opt for greater flexibility and variety taking daily and weekly placements or you could make yourself available for longer-term roles covering a subject over a longer periodof time.Pay rates are flexible, you can choose your days and you can be as selective as you need to be on location and schools you would like to work in. We support schools across Kent and work with Primary, Secondary and SEND schools.In order to qualify as a cover supervisor, you will need:
  • A DBS or be willing to undertake a new DBS
  • Permission to work in the UK
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting
  • References to a good standard
